Stanmore Book and Post, a post shop with a difference. Here you will find not only an NZ Post centre, but also secondhand books and affordable greeting cards. They also function as a drop-off point for the RE:MOBILE initiative. The shop collects old cellphones, on behalf of Orana Wildlife Park, for recycling and refurbishment. This reduces the need to mine the mineral coltan and helps take the pressure off gorilla habitats in the wild jungles of Africa (Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo).
