The Speaking 4 the Planet event creates the space for Intermediate and High school students to show case their passion for our planet, and their talents in public speaking, spoken word and visual art.
Sustainable Ōtautahi are leading this with the local branch of NZ Assoc for Environmental Education. We have an amazing number of schools participating, hoping for 10 schools we currently have 13 schools eager and already supporting their students to be involved.
Before their peers and judges, students will bring their best skills in persuasion, communication and style to address global issues linked to the UN’s World Environment Day themes of #airpollution and #beatplasticpollution.
7th June 9.30-4pm
TSB Space, Tūranga Central City Library
