Di Lucas repeats a talk she gave to the Environmental Defense Society Conference in August Facebook event

  • Integrate forests into our landscapes and make them resilient to climate change
  • Regenerating indigenous forests
  • Integrating carbon storage into farmscape planning

Di Lucas, landscape architect, established Lucas Associates 40 years ago in Canterbury to address rural landscape management. She works around much of Aotearoa NZ in landscape planning. Di has had various government advisory roles, chaired the government’s Nature Heritage Fund 1990 – 2017, was a member of the Nga Whenua Rahui committee for a decade and is currently a member of the South Island High country Advisory committee.

This talk is presented in partnership with 350.org.nz Christchurch. Over a cup of tea or coffee after the talk join in the fun of a silent auction.
