In mid-November Sustainable Ōtautahi Christchurch had the opportunity to host a free screening of the film ‘2040: The Regeneration’. With support from the Christchurch City Council and Tūranga Library the film screening hosted over 100 attendees.
Describing itself as ‘fact-based dreaming’, the film provided a positive vision of the future through exploration of solutions that are already available around the world.
Massive thanks to everyone that came along to share the evening with us, to the stall holders that provided information on local initiatives and to Christchurch City Council for the screening rights.
If you are interested in hosting a screening of the film, please contact us and we can give you further details.
Stall holders included:
- Eco Calendar
- Christchurch Community Gardens Association
- New Brighton Stitch-0-Mat
- Remix Plastic
- Envirohub
- Christchurch City Council
